Grow and Nourish: Garden and Nutrition Classes for Families
Join The Be Kind People Project in partnership with AZ Health Zone for Grow and Nourish, a fun and educational 4-week series designed for families to explore the joys of gardening, healthy food, and simple cooking skills. These interactive classes will take place on Wednesdays in July from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the BE KIND Community Education Center in downtown Phoenix.
Each week, families will enjoy hands-on activities focused on gardening, nutrition, and cooking:
July 9: Introduction to Gardening
July 16: Garden Planning & Salsa-Making Demonstration
July 23: Cooking with Food Scraps & Container Gardening
July 30: Celebrate the Harvest & Learn Basic Knife Skills

Who Can Attend:
Families with children ages 5 and up are welcome!
This event is free to attend and supported by the USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) through AZ Health Zone.
